Jorge Figueroa Full Scholarship
The purpose is to provide a full scholarship for a DeafBlind Arizonian who is in need of financial assistance and desires to attend the retreat for the first time. This scholarship is created in memory of Jorge Figueroa, who founded Arizona Association of the DeafBlind, and passed away from COVID in 2021. Link to his obituary (https://tinyurl.com/m7jft93n)
Eligibility Criteria
- DeafBlind (hearing and vision loss)
- Able to make independent decisions
- Arizona resident
- 21 years or above.
- Never attended the retreat in the past
- Need financial assistance
